A high-quality bow is responsive to the touch, allowing the player to create a full spectrum of sound from their palette. When well matched to both player and instrument, a good bow will allow the violin, viola, or cello to sing to its full potential.
Here you will find our selection of bows. We have Pernambuco violin bows, viola bows, and cello bows, as well as some fine carbon bows. Generally, Pernambuco will give a warmer and richer sound than Carbon. Carbon is an excellent choice when durability is important. And our Bravo Hybrid bows are great combinations of both- Carbon core for durability, then wrapped with a Pernambuco veneer for rich tone.
