Secret Santa in Summer Sale- Contact Us for the LOWEST Prices of the Year! Ends 6/11
Did you purchase your instrument or bow from us and need an updated appraisal? If so, updated appraisals are free to the original owner for as long as the instrument remains in their possession. Contact us and we'll get one out to you as soon as possible.
APPRAISALS ARE ONLINE ONLY.
An Online Appraisal is the only way we can evaluate the age, origin, and value of your instrument.
I appraise instruments based on "full fair market value". That is, the full value of an instrument in the open market. This value might or might not be the amount you could sell the instrument for. Many market factors affect the sale value.
Condition can greatly affect the value of your instrument. For example, if you have a violin that in near perfect condition might have a value of $1,000, but it needs $2,000 worth of repair work, your instrument does not have much (or any) fair market value.
Once you place your order, we will email a list of the required photos and measurements. Please realize the accuracy of your appraisal will be directly influenced by the quality of the pictures and the accuracy of the measurements that you provide. If you do not have the capability to email or text pictures of your instrument to us, then the Online Appraisal is not suitable for you.
Please note- If you're thinking of selling, donating, or giving away the instrument or bow you purchased from us, please ask for a current appraisal BEFORE you make the sale, donation, etc. Appraisals are free to the original owner while they have possession of the instrument, but appraisals are not free to any subsequent owners.
