Appointments- Trying Instruments & Bows
We want YOU, all the employees of Fein Violins, and all our musician clients to have a safe and enjoyable time in our shop. We LOVE having musicians in our shop. Unfortunately, now is a time we need to make some changes in how we can accommodate you.
Most importantly:
- You MUST wear a mask at all times when you are in our studio and shop.
- If you have a fever; or are coughing and/or sneezing; or have been recently diagnosed or exposed to someone diagnosed with Covid-19- Please Stay Home!
Our music studio for trying instruments and bows is up one flight of stairs. We’re sorry, but it is not handicap accessible. If you need ADA accommodations, please let us know and we’ll make other arrangements.
There is a bathroom upstairs (through either door on the opposite side of the stairs). Please wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before playing the instruments. There is also hand sanitizer on the table which you may use in addition to washing your hands.
The instrument(s) for purchase and a choice of case(s) and bow(s) will be on or near the table and will be ready to play. Other accessories can be chosen during the purchase process, but we ask that you bring your own music, shoulder rest, etc.
The instruments and bows have been cleaned at the pegs, neck, strings, chinrest, fine tuners, frog, bow button, and winding. That is, any place where you would normally put your hands or fingers during the playing process, we have thoroughly cleaned prior to your visit.
When you are ready to purchase your new instrument, pack it up along with your choice of case and bow and call us at 651-228-0783 to discuss your purchase. We will take your credit card number over the phone, process your payment, and have your receipt and other paperwork ready on the table downstairs before you leave. You can have up to 10 days to play the instrument at home. If, for any reason, you don’t love the instrument, you can return it during the ten day period for a full refund or pick a different instrument.
If you choose not to purchase the instrument, please leave everything as you found it.
Please keep in mind that the 30% discount is only applicable to online sales and will not apply if you come in to try instruments. If you choose to purchase online instead of coming in, please use the discount code "onlinesave" for 30% off any instrument over $1500.
