RETURN POLICIES: Fein Violins wants you to be happy with your purchase! We give you a 10-day trial period from the date you receive the instrument, to play and evaluate it. If, during that time, you decide that it is not for you, we will arrange for free return shipping. After the instrument has been returned in good condition, we will refund your full purchase price.
SHIPPING: With Fein Violins, ground shipping is FREE anywhere in the contiguous United States.
We ship almost everywhere in the world, but outside the lower 48 United States, there will be a shipping fee. Please feel free to contact us for a shipping quote. Whenever possible, we will include any applicable duty and/or taxes in your quote.
3-day, 2nd day and overnight shipping is available but will also involve an additional fee. Please contact us if you require expedited shipping.

If you live outside the United States, (Guam, Puerto Rico, Canada, or internationally) please contact us for shipping costs. For our Canadian customers, we will pay for shipping, and collect any applicable duties, fees and/or taxes so the instrument will come right to your door!
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: Customs and import duties may be applied to International orders when the shipment reaches its destination. Such charges are the responsibility of the recipient of the order and varies by country. Contact your local customs office for details.
Shipping laws vary by country. It is your responsibility to check with your Customs office to verify whether the country to which you are shipping permits the shipment of our products. Fein Violins is not responsible for any direct, indirect, punitive, or consequential damages that arise from improper international shipping practices.
MATERIALS DECLARATION: OUR PRODUCTS DO NOT CONTAIN any Brazilian Rosewood, Ivory, and/or Tortoiseshell protected under the Convention of International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) and/or the Endangered Species Act (ESA). Our products include: Violins, Violas, and Cellos bearing the following labels: "Atelier Cremone/Andrew Fein", "F.Costa/ Andrew Fein", or "D. Albert/Andrew Fein" and Violin, Viola, or Cello Bows bearing the stamp "A. Fein", "Fein", "JONPAUL", or "C.Pierre." As of 1/1/2017- SOME, not all, of our instruments MAY contain non-Brazilian Rosewood fittings. All of the non-Brazilian Rosewood was legally received prior to 1/1/2017. Brazilian Rosewood has never been used.

WARRANTY: We warrant your instrument for one year from the date of purchase. We will replace or repair, free of charge, any part or parts of the instrument as needed through normal use of the instrument. This includes the bridge, sound-post, pegs, tuners, chin rest and tailpiece, but does not include strings. We will also make any adjustments that might be needed. For any warranty repairs, the cost of shipping is the responsibility of the owner of the instrument.
To recive a 100% trade-in value, the second purchase must be of greater value than the trade-in. The purchase price of the trade-in, excluding sales tax, shipping and accessories, will be applied towards the LIST PRICE of any of our F. Costa, D. Albert or Atelier Cremone violins, violas, or cellos. Any other discounts will be applied AFTER the trade-in has been deducted from the list price.
Only one trade-in can be applied per purchase. The instrument, bow and case must be in good condition.
We will also accept your trade-in if you purchased the instrument elsewhere, matching that company's trade-in policy dollar for dollar! Please have a receipt, purchase record, or a written trade-in value to take advantage of this type of trade-in.
RENTAL CREDIT: We'll honor your rental credit from anywhere, not just our shop. Please call us for details.
